Day 1 Arrival in Islamabad
Upon arrival in Islamabad, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You will have a briefing about the trek and have time to explore the city.
- Day 2 Islamabad to Skardu
Duration: 1 HourToday, you will take a flight from Islamabad to Skardu, which is the starting point of the trek. The flight takes around 1 hour and you will have stunning views of the Himalayas along the way.
- Day 3 Skardu
Today, you will have a rest day in Skardu. You can explore the city and visit the famous Kharpocho Fort.
- Day 4 Skardu to Askole
Duration: 6-7 HoursToday, you will drive to Askole, which is the starting point of the trek. The drive takes around 6-7 hours and you will pass through beautiful landscapes and small villages.
- Day 5 Askole to Jhola
Altitude: 3,100mToday, you will start your trek and walk through lush forests, rice paddies, and small villages. You will reach Jhola, which is a small village located at an altitude of 3,100 meters.
- Day 6 Jhola to Paiju
Altitude: 3,450mToday, you will continue your trek and cross the Braldu River several times. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and reach Paiju, which is a small village located at an altitude of 3,450 meters.
- Day 7 Paiju to Khoburtse
Altitude: 3,600mToday, you will trek through beautiful forests and reach Khoburtse, which is a small village located at an altitude of 3,600 meters. You will have stunning views of the Baltoro Glacier along the way.
- Day 8 Khoburtse to Urdukas
Altitude: 4,130mToday, you will trek to Urdukas, which is a small village located at an altitude of 4,130 meters. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and have stunning views of the Himalayas.
- Day 9 Urdukas to Goro II
Altitude: 4,350mToday, you will trek to Goro II, which is a small village located at an altitude of 4,350 meters. You will have stunning views of the Baltoro Glacier along the way.
- Day 10 Goro II to Concordia
Altitude: 4,600mToday, you will trek to Concordia, which is a small village located at an altitude of 4,600 meters. You will have stunning views of the Himalayas, including K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum.
- Day 11 Rest day in Concordia
Today, you will have a rest day in Concordia. You can explore the village and interact with the locals.
- Day 12 Trek to K2 Base Camp
Altitude: 5,150mToday, you will trek to K2 Base Camp, which is located at an altitude of 5,150 meters. You will have stunning views of K2 and the surrounding Himalayas.
- Day 13-15 Explore K2 Base Camp
These days will be spent exploring K2 Base Camp and the surrounding areas. You can hike to nearby glaciers and have stunning views of the Himalayas.
- Day 16 Trek back to Concordia
Today, you will trek back to Concordia and spend the night there.
- Day 17 Trek to Ali Camp
Altitude: 5,100mToday, you will trek to Ali Camp, which is a small village located at an altitude of 5,100 meters. You will have stunning views of the Himalayas along the way.
- Day 18 Trek to Goro I
Altitude: 4,300mToday, you will trek to Goro I, which is a small village located at an altitude of 4,300 meters. You will have stunning views of the Baltoro Glacier along the way.
- Day 19 Trek to Khoburtse
Today, you will trek back to Khoburtse and spend the night there.
- Day 20 Trek to Paiju
Today, you will trek back to Paiju and spend the night there.
- Day 21 Trek to Jhola
Today, you will trek back to Jhola and spend the night there
- Day 22 Trek to Askole
Today, you will trek back to Askole and spend the night there.
- Day 23 Drive to Skardu
Today, you will drive back to Skardu and spend the night there.
- Day 24 Skardu to Islamabad
Today, you will take a flight from Skardu to Islamabad and spend the night there.
- Day 25 Departure
Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
