  • This 17-day journey combines a big portion of the famous Everest Base Camp trek route with the untouched wonders of the Gokyo Lakes region, making it one of the best adventures ever. Gokyo hamlet, nestled in a secret valley in the Khumbu region, is one of the Himalayas' lesser-known gems. Your hike will take you down a winding trail through forgotten valleys, past serene lakes, and through quaint communities.

    You will also see the jewels of the Gokyo Lakes: Gokyo Ri and the Fifth Lake, whose magnificence overlooks a breathtaking vista of mighty Everest! Next, enjoy views of Everest, Pumari, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other peaks from the dazzling ice trail of the Cho La pass over a glacier before ascending to Kala Patthar, the iconic Black Rock. After that, we'll spend an action-packed day at Everest Base Camp, following the iconic trek down the mountain.

    • Day 2 Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and Phakding

      You will take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which is a small town in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The flight is a scenic one, offering stunning views of the Himalayan mountains. After landing in Lukla, you will meet your trekking guide and porters and start your trek to Phakding. The trek starts with a descent towards the Dudh Koshi River and passes through several small villages and suspension bridges. You will spend the night in one of the lodges in Phakding.

    • Day 3 Phakding to Namche Bazaar

      The trek starts from Phakding and follows the Dudh Koshi River towards the town of Monjo. After crossing a suspension bridge, you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to several rare species of flora and fauna. The trail then ascends towards the town of Namche Bazaar, which is located at an altitude of 3,440 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 6-7 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Namche Bazaar.

    • Day 4 Namche Bazaar - Rest and Acclimatization Day

      This day is set aside for rest and acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. You can explore the town, visit the local market, or hike to the nearby villages for better acclimatization. You will spend the night in one of the lodges in Namche Bazaar.

    • Day 5 Namche Bazaar to Phortse

      The trek starts with a descent towards the Dudh Koshi River and passes through several small villages and suspension bridges. The trail then ascends towards the town of Phortse, which is located at an altitude of 3,810 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 5-6 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Phortse.

      The trek starts with a descent towards the Dudh Koshi River and passes through several small villages and suspension bridges. The trail then ascends towards the town of Dingboche, which is located at an altitude of 4,410 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 6-7 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Dingboche.

    • Day 7 Dingboche - Rest and Acclimatization Day

      This day is set aside for rest and acclimatization in Dingboche. You can explore the town, visit the local market, or hike to the nearby villages for better acclimatization. You will spend the night in one of the lodges in Dingboche.

    • Day 8 Dingboche to Lobuche

      The trek starts with a gradual ascent towards the town of Dughla. After a short break, the trail continues towards the town of Lobuche, which is located at an altitude of 4,910 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 5-6 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Lobuche.

    • Day 9 Lobuche to Gorekshep and Everest Base Camp, EBC to Gorekshep

      The trek starts with a gradual ascent towards the town of Gorekshep. After a short break, the trail continues towards the Everest Base Camp, which is located at an altitude of 5,364 meters above sea level. After spending some time at the base camp, you will trek back to Gorekshep, which is located at an altitude of 5,140 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 7-8 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Gorekshep.

    • Day 10 Gorekshep to Kalapathar to Dzongla

      The trek starts with a hike to Kalapathar, which is located at an altitude of 5,545 meters above sea level. Kalapathar offers stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other surrounding peaks. After spending some time at Kalapathar, the trail descends towards the town of Dzongla, which is located at an altitude of 4,830 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 7-8 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Dzongla.

    • Day 11 Dzongla to Cho La to Thaknak

      The trek starts with a steep ascent towards the Cho La Pass, which is located at an altitude of 5,420 meters above sea level. After crossing the pass, the trail descends towards the town of Thaknak, which is located at an altitude of 4,750 meters above sea level.     • Day 12 Thaknak to Gokyo

After spending some time at Gokyo Ri, the trail descends towards the town of Machermo, which is located at an altitude of 4,470 meters above sea level. You will spend the night in one of the lodges in Machermo.

      The trek starts with a descent towards the town of Dole. After a short break, the trail continues towards the town of Namche Bazaar, which is located at an altitude of 3,440 meters above sea level. The trek takes around 6-7 hours and you will spend the night in one of the lodges in Namche Bazaar.

    • Day 15 Namche to Phakding and Lukla

      The trek starts with a descent towards the town of Phakding. After a short break, the trail continues towards the town of Lukla. You will spend the night in one of the lodges in Lukla.

    • Day 16 Lukla to Kathmandu

      You will take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. After landing in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city or shopping for souvenirs.

    • Day 17 Kathmandu - Departure Day

      This day is set aside for departure from Kathmandu. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. If you have some time before your flight, you can explore the city or do some last-minute shopping.

    • ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE : Airport - Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop), by private vehicle.
    • HOTEL ACCOMMODATION IN KATHMANDU : 3 nights hotel in Kathmandu (4-star category) - single room on bed and breakfast plan.
    • WELCOME DINNER : One Welcome Dinner in a tourist standard restaurant in Kathmandu with Office’s Staff.
    • PERMITS : All necessary paper works: Sagarmatha National Park permit, Tims Card, Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality entry permit, and fees.
    • INSURANCE : Medical & Emergency rescue Insurance for all involved Nepalese staff during the trek.
    • TREKKING MAP : Everest Region Trekking map.
    • MEMBER TRANSPORTATION : - (Domestic Flight) Fly from Kathmandu – Lukla and while returning Lukla - Kathmandu, as per itinerary.
    • MEMBER LUGGAGE : Up to 15 Kg per member as personal baggage during the trek to be carried by porters.

    • STAFF SALARY AND ALLOWANCE : All Nepalese staff & porter’s daily wages, salary, equipment, food & clothing.
